Marsha Esmeier, MC, LAC
Marsha Esmeier received her Master’s in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University in 2014 and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona. Marsha is trained in the 3-5-7 Model and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). She has worked in community, non-profit and family service settings for the past 7 years; prior to that Marsha worked in the administrative field for a major water supplier here in Arizona for 30 years. Marsha takes a person-centered, humanistic approach and utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities when helping clients work through their thoughts and feelings stemming from depression, anxiety, grief, sadness and anger; Marsha also helps to process life traumas due to neglect, abuse, workplace struggles and parenting/relationship issues. Marsha utilizes NMT, a developmentally-informed, biologically respectful approach to working with at-risk children and is an excellent resource for parents and caregivers of children overcoming trauma; and the 3-5-7 model, a tool used to support the work of at-risk youth as they process their thoughts and feelings. Marsha shows respect to each individual for who they are; meets them where they’re at and will help guide and partner with you in a nonjudgmental, safe and respectful environment. She listens, is inquisitive and seeks understanding about her client’s life, thoughts, experiences and challenges; she walks alongside her clients as they find their way towards hope, resilience and knowledge. Marsha works Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and by appointment only on Friday.
